It’s a series that is popular among LOTS of people. Not just “otaku”. It has engaging characters that it’s easy to form emotional bonds with, great story lines, an extremely imaginative setting, enormous attention to detail, and has some pretty awesome fight scenes as well.
Why do you like HXH?
Hunter x Hunter is widely regarded as a masterpiece shounen anime. It has everything a person could want: memorable characters, fantastic story arcs, deep worldbuilding, and arguably the best and most detailed power system in any anime. That anime ended in 2014 but the manga continues where the anime left off.
Who is the bad guy in Hunter x Hunter?
Hunter x Hunter has had plenty of memorable villains across its history. Illumi has played the manipulative older brother. Genthru was an overly-ambitious murderer. Meruem was a highly-evolved ant that looked to conquer the world and eat people.
Is Hunter x Hunter any good?
The main villain in the Chimera Ant arc is one of the best written I’ve seen in any anime. Hunter X Hunter gets really good in the York Shin arc, which is the third one, but before that there is a really intense battle in the second arc that I’m sure you’re going to like.
Why do people like HxH so much?
Hxh builds up to world building. ( there isnt much shouting about ambition, love and dreams during the fight scenes, this is why the battle scenes is all about breaking down the abilities/ mechanics rather than shouting about amibition and getting power ups.
Does the first story arc of Hunter x Hunter get better?
Because so far this first story arc is dull (Them passing the Hunter Exam), I’m feeling it is dragging on way too long and most of the characters which looked semi-interesting never really got expanded upon before they were kicked out of the exam or just don’t get enough screen time. It doesn’t really get any better.
