On the most basic level, actors are paid so much because people pay so much to see them. People like to be entertained and they are willing to pay to enjoy themselves watch great actors on screen. It doesn’t seem like much, but most people are spending a fair amount of money to watch actors work.

Military members should get paid more than professional athletes. Being in the military is a difficult job and a very stressful lifestyle. A higher pay would help veterans tremendously. The fact that athletes make more for entertaining people while soldiers are struggling to stay on their feet.
Why do football players make more than soldiers?
Because capitalism and scale. The NFL makes billions of dollars and only employs a few thousand people. Better teams make more money (usually) so better players make more. Since teams are willing to pay that much for players, that’s the price.
Why do actors get paid so little?
If your good/lucky enough you might get a maybe from people, then if you do get the part you have to continuously be someone else taking upon their stress, problems and wrong doings. Aaaand ontop of that 99\% of paid actors earn minimum wage or less.
Who makes more money than the most paid doctors?

Should actors/actresses have a limit on how much they can earn?
Nobody should have a limit on how much they can earn. Putting a maximum wage on anyone is just not right. In addition to this many actors/actresses use their money to help people. Angelina Jolie for example spent millions of her income traveling to different countries to help poor and homeless people.
Why do celebrities make so much money?
They are essentially entertainers, promoters for products, and they make their own products such as shoes, cosmetics, clothing, and more. So this means people who are essentially in jobs that are just for our entertainment are making that much more than people who are in careers that save people’s lives.
