Why do I hate things I like getting popular?
People hate popular things because they are easy targets, that’s all. I think many people assume that in order for things to be popular they either are used by a group of people with whom they don’t identify, or that the company that made it popular must be doing something untoward to take advantage of people.

Why do we like certain things?
‘Conscious will’ might seem like a separate reason behind certain choices but we consciously choose to like a particular thing only because either genetics or circumstances create an inclination to choose the thing in the first place.
