What should I take economics or computer science?
Computer science is great, but to get anywhere, you’ll have to really be into computer programming and script editing. However, you will learn a lot of great programming skills that are transferable to economics (SQL, R, Python). Economics is a very versatile area of study.
Why CSE students study economics as a subject?
If you have knowledge of economics, you can envision the business problem they are trying to solve. It helps you understand the reasoning/logic of how business-people think, which can aid your thinking in terms of how to maximize the value of whatever product you find yourself working on for them.
