What is the qualifying marks for next exam?
An applicant will pass only if he/she obtains a minimum of 50\% of marks in the examination. NBE will display results (pass/fail) for eligible candidates on their website and the office of NBE. There is no provision of review or re-totaling.

According to the data from the National Board of Examination (NBE), the exam conducting body, from 2015-2020, the total pass percentage of the exam was 14.22\%, with only 8,731 out of 61,418 candidates who appeared in the past four years managed to pass the exam.
How many times can I give next exam?
There will be unlimited attempts in NEXT exam. Score of NEXT-1 exam will be valid for 2 to 3 years for the purpose of PG Entrance ranking.
Is next exam only for foreign students?
With this exam plan, the government will solve three objectives. After National Exit Test, only those candidates will get a medical degree who will pass this national level exam. Even foreign graduates have to clear this exam to register themself to work in India.
