How old are elders in the Mormon Church?
18 or older

Do Mormons wear garments in the temple?
Mormons don’t begin to wear temple garments until they have attended the temple to receive the “endowment.” This event normally occurs just before a young man or woman leaves to serve a mission, or just before a temple marriage. Thus, children do not wear garments, nor do Mormons who have never been through the temple.
What are “Mormon underwear”?
Mormon garments have been referred to in public arenas as “magic underwear,” “Mormon underwear,” and (my favorite) “magic Mormon undies” by people trying to both mock and understand. One of the challenges of the past for Mormons has been walking the line between secret and sacred.
Why do Mormon men wear yarmulke?
Perhaps the most well-known example is the yarmulke, which is worn at special times by many Jewish men or at all times by devout orthodox Jews. Jews also wear the tzitzit, an undergarment with fringes tied in 613 knots symbolic of the laws of Moses. The Mormon garment is symbolic in much the same way.
What is the significance of garments for Latter-day Saints?
The garment for Latter-day Saints is much like the other religiously symbolic clothing or items in other religions like the Scapular, Tzitzit, Dhoti, Veil, and Peace Mala. While there is an academic connection to garments, I think it is most important to point out that I see my garments as a personal commitment to keep my promises to God.
