The Hammond B3 organ does have a “cool factor” to its style that cannot be denied. Over the years, we at Keyboard Exchange International have been asked thousands of times, which is the better instrument, the B3 or the C3. The simple answer is that the only real difference is the furniture style.

The other difference is in the physical drawbars. The B2 drawbars have very noticeable notches though the 8 steps that make it very hard to due “on the fly” drawbar changes. What do you think about Hammond BC’s with the chorus?
I’ve had a few Hammond BC’s complete with working chorus TWG. They IMO have the nicest sound with that additional TWG for the chorus. To me the over all general sound of the main TWG is a bit mellower but overall I , myself like the sound of BC’s. Cost?? all dependent of condition and if and how bad the issues.
