What does version beta mean?

How do I find my beta version?
Visit google.com/android/beta to sign-up for the Android Beta Program. Sign in to your Google account when prompted. Your eligible devices will be listed on the next page, click to enroll in the Beta Program. Go to Settings > System > Advanced > System Update to check for available downloads.
Is beta version is safe?
Early access and beta apps may be less stable than most apps. For example, the app might crash or some features might not work properly. Some apps limit how many users can join early access and beta programs. If it’s full, space may open later if current testers leave or if the developer lets more users join.

Why didn’t I receive a score immediately for my beta exam?
When you complete a beta exam, you do not receive a score immediately because the scoring model for the exam is not yet finalized.
How do I install a non-beta version of iOS?
If an update is already available, you can install it by going to Settings > General > Software Update, but the iOS version must be later than the version you have. If you don’t want to wait for a software update to install a non-beta version of iOS, follow the steps to restore iOS.
Can I use the beta exam code outside the 3-4 week window?
The code can only be used for exams delivered during that 3–4-week window. If you attempt to schedule the exam outside that window, the code will not work. Candidates located in China, India, Pakistan, or Turkey are not eligible to participate in beta exams for security reasons.
