What does it mean when you feel like your soul has left your body?
An out-of-body experience (OBE), which some might also describe as a dissociative episode, is a sensation of your consciousness leaving your body. These episodes are often reported by people who’ve had a near-death experience. People typically experience their sense of self inside their physical body.

Is your soul leaving your body?
It isn’t your Soul leaving your body. The entire Soul is never IN the physical body. What is leaving is called your Astral Body. This same body goes out in our sleeping hours to explore, revisit past lives, engage in particular forms of learning such as is found in mystery schools and much more.
Are You a soul trapped in your body?
Well, you are a soul but you’re not really trapped in your body unless you believe you are. Your consciousness is free to roam to many higher planes. You do this in your sleep without realizing it. You have constructed the chains that bind you, but they only bind you because you’re holding onto them.
Why do I feel like something has gone from my body?
Sometimes a spirit which stayed inside your body quits for some reason. At that moment you may feel that something has gone from your body. This may happen to anyone. It is nothing. Spirits are separate elements.
