What are recipes in Dataiku?
Recipes in DSS contain the transformation steps, or processing logic, that act upon datasets. In the Flow, blue squares represent datasets. The yellow, orange, and red circles, on the other hand, which connect datasets to one another, represent recipes.
What is schema in Dataiku?
A dataset in Dataiku DSS has a schema that describes its structure. The schema of a dataset includes the list of columns with their names and storage types. Often, the schema of our datasets will change when designing the Flow.
When you start typing your search term in the global search toolbar what sources does Dataiku DSS immediately begin searching select all that apply?
Start typing your search term, and Dataiku DSS begins searching for matches across several sources, including:

How do I rename a recipe in Dataiku?
- type (str) – type of the recipe.
- name (str) – name for the recipe.
Which of the following are inputs to the evaluate recipe?
The Evaluate recipe requires two inputs: a labelled dataset and a deployed prediction model.
How do I update my Dataiku schema?
The schema can have changed either because the columns in the source data have changed or because you have made changes to the recipe that creates the dataset. To do this, right-click a recipe or dataset and select Propagate schema across Flow from here. This opens the Schema Propagation tool.
What can Dataiku do?
Dataiku enables teams to create and deliver data and advanced analytics using the latest techniques at scale.
Is Dataiku an ETL tool?
Dataiku DSS is not just a single tool (ETL or ML/AI tool). It provides features starting with data profiling and data analysis, through data pipeline development, up to building ML models on top of the datasets.
How do you evaluate a recipe?
Define your standards and expectations for each dish and check if the prepared dish matches up.
- Appearance. Colour and colour combinations.
- Aroma. The smell or aroma such as tangy, herby, earthy, etc.
- Taste. The basic sweet, sour, bitter, salty and umami tastes.
- Texture and Consistency.
- Temperature.
- Flavour.
How do you deploy a model in Dataiku?
Click on the Deploy button on the top right. Dataiku DSS displays a popup window. It will let you create a new Train recipe. Train recipes, in Dataiku DSS, are the way to automatically deploy a model in the Flow, where you can then use it to produce predictions on new records.
