MAPSS is prestigious – The program has a 90\% matriculation rate to fully-funded PhD programs, making it the most successful MA program in the world in terms of what its goals are (namely, to get students into fully-funded PhD programs). As a MAPSS student, you are taking the equivalent of a two-year MA in one year.
