Can I use outdated AP books?
You can use an old review book even from before 2014 if you remember what was added (so you can review it elsewhere) and what was removed. A book from 2014 or 2015 is absolutely fine. Of course you can.

Yes and no. The eight practice tests from the book (which are all available online for free) are absolutely crucial to your SAT prep. However, the book doesn’t provide you with details of how to score your practice test; you have to go online to do that, rendering the book useless. If you can’t even score your tests using the book, why buy it?
Is the educational material for the SAT worth it?
