How do you pray when you make a mistake?
Lord, please forgive me for what I have done to you. I offer up this forgiveness prayer in hopes that you will look at my mistakes and know that I did not mean to hurt you. I know you know I’m not perfect. I know that what I did went against you, but I hope that you will forgive me, just as you forgive others like me.
How does God use our mistakes?
God Uses Our Failures To Reveal Our Sin And Change Our Futures: God can use our brokenness and our failed experiences to reveal our sin and change the course of our lives forever. In our brokenness, it is safe to say that we need Jesus. But in our sinful state, it is often impossible for us to admit this.
What are sorry prayers?
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. love above all things. In His name, my God, have mercy.
Does God listen to our prayers?
Through the scriptures, we are taught that God will always hear our prayers and will answer them if we address Him with faith and real intent. In our hearts we will feel the confirmation that He does hear us, a feeling of peace and calm. We can also feel that everything will be fine when we follow the Father’s will.
Does God answer your prayers?
The truth is, even though Habakkuk couldn’t see it, God was working the whole time! And the same is true in your life as a follower of Christ. If you’re in a holding pattern, trust that God is working, and that He is sovereign over all the details in your life. God indeed does answer prayer…and, yes, your prayers!
Why does the Lord Say “No” when we pray?
Sometimes the Lord says “No” when we pray. And while this can be a very difficult answer to receive, it’s still an answer…regardless if we understand His decision at the moment or not. God is able to reveal His strength in you and me when we are broken and weak. So there is a purpose when God says “No.”
Will God take your mistake and turn it into a miracle?
Regardless of any mistake you have made…or tragedy that has come into your life…if you will turn to God, He is prepared to take your mistake, your awful circumstance, and turn it into a miracle. A great example of how God can work in a miraculous way is recorded in the Old Testament. It is the story of Joseph (see Genesis 37-47).
What does the Bible say about praying for the sick?
The Bible does tell us to place our hands on sick people and pray for them (Mark 16:15-18). It doesn’t say, “You make them well if your faith is strong enough.” It teaches us to reach out in faith. But only God’s power works the miracles. Our responsibility is to pray, but the weight of the outcome was never meant to be on our shoulders.
