How do you explain trekking experience?
Trekking gives you a sense of physical well-being. It is a sport for your body, mind and spirit. It all started in 2008 when we went out on a team outing on a trek to Tadiyandamol in Coorg, Karnataka. There was something that we liked about the trek.

Why is trekking important?
Like all physical activities, trekking is beneficial for your health: develop your bones, reduce the risk of osteoporosis, increase your cardiovascular and respiratory capacities, strengthen your immune system, improve your muscular capacity.

The idea of going to trekking was first mooted to me by my friend, Sushrut. I at first was skeptical of going to a trekking adventure as I had never done it before. He did the work of assuring me that this is a small trek and u will not find any difficulty in trekking due to u r weight.
What is the sarpass Trek?
Sarpass is a Himalayan trek that lasts for 5 days where you walk over 10-12 kms every day to finally reach Sarpass- which is a Himalayan Mountain Range at 14,000 feet! So in all you cover 60 kms on foot to reach a aheight of 14000 feet!
What is it like to return from a 5 day Himalayan trek?
Having returned from my first 5 day himalayan trek, my big toes were both swollen, one of them was watering and turning blue, my leg calves muscles were sore…. my entire body felt heavy …. But My heart and soul felt light and at unusual peace……here I was in one piece, safe and alive, SARPASS RETURN!
