Does Oxford require Lor?
Referees are kindly requested to submit an online reference form, including a reference letter, to assist the University in making a full assessment of each applicant’s academic record and abilities.
Does personal statement matter Oxford?
Oxford? Nope. They told us that it basically acted as an incredibly simplistic screening mechanism: if you can string two sentences together coherently, then your application is considered. So a bad statement can lose you a place, but past that it has no significance.

A rule of thumb for writing an Oxbridge Personal Statement is the 80:20 rule i.e. 80\% of your personal statement should be academic and 20\%, extracurriculars. But this should be the minimum. In some cases, I would go as far as to say an ideal ratio might be 90:10. The main body is your chance to show-off.
