Can I have packages delivered directly to the post office?
When shipping packages, you can choose the Hold for Pickup option, and the recipients can collect their packages at their local Post Office. If you are expecting a package, you can redirect it to your local Post Office by selecting Hold for Pickup using Intercept a Package under Track & Manage on usps.com.
Can I ship to a Post Office Canada?
Deliver to Post Office is available for 2 of our Canadian shipping services – Xpresspost TM and Expedited ParcelTM . Customers can track their purchase to the post office and receive an email notification when their parcel is ready for pickup. They have up to 15 days to pick up their package.
Can you order something online to a post office?

Once you’ve completed your labels, simply click on the carrier pickup link to request next-day pickup.

Do I need to send my package to the post office?
No. At least, not in the way that you are thinking. You need to use the recipient’s proper postal delivery address on your package, not the post office’s address, but you can send most mail class packages as Hold for Pickup if you print your own shipping labels with a service like Stamps.com or Endicia.
Does the USPS still offer general delivery?
Yes. This is called ‘General Delivery’. I can attest that the USPS still offers this service since I sent a package General Delivery just last week. (June 2017) When you send something General Delivery, you send it to the recipient’s name, at the street address of the desired post office.
How do I get a package delivered to a street address?
You need to ask your Post Office if they allow street addressing. Most do. If not then another option is General Delivery. Generally only one office per city allows for General Delivery. They will hold mail/packages up to 30 days. They will require I.D. before they will release it.
How long does it take for a parcel to be delivered UK?
