Can I drop out of IB in Grade 11?
Any student can drop out of the IB Program. Once the student decides to drop IB, the student must inform the IB Coordinator and counselor so that the students schedule can be changed to a non-IB schedule by the counselor. Students who receive a failing grade will be placed on probation.

Many universities require the OSS equivalents for scholarships and other adjudications. We will not forward IB transcripts to out-of-province institutions. Ontario IB students who apply to 1 or more out-of-province institutions must arrange for their high school to send their IB grades directly to those institutions.

You need an 87\% average in Ontario grades, vs a 39 SUBJECT points (excludes the 3 points from EE and TOK) in IB. The 39 in IB is an order of magnitude more difficult to attain.
