Can General Category give SSC CGL?
Any Graduate can apply for the SSC CGL Exam. Apart from few SSC CGL Posts like that of Compiler, Statistical Investigator Grade II and Assistant (CSS) require Graduation in specific streams.
Can General Category clear SSC CGL?
The above table clearly states that in tier-1, general category candidate should attain on an average 21.58 marks extra to SC category, 30 marks extra to ST category, and 13 extra marks to OBC candidates to qualify in SSC CGL exam.
Is there any reservation for SSC CGL exam?
Apart from the general category candidates, the reserved category aspirants can also apply for the SSC CGL exam . There will be no state-wise reservation. Aspirants belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC or PH category are eligible for reservation. Ex-Serviceman candidates will also have a reservation of seats.
What is combined graduate level (CGL) exam?
One of the exams conducted by the SSC is the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam. The SSC CGL Exam is conducted to select candidates into Group B & Group C posts in various categories under the Indian Government. This exam is a 4 stage exam. When will the SSC CGL Tier-II 2019 Exam be conducted?
SSC on October 7th 2020 has announced the revised date for SSC CGL Tier-II 2019 exam. The Tier II exam which was scheduled from November 2nd 2020 will now be conducted from November 15th to November 18th 2020.
