Just our preference. It is a little weird for a grandparent to bathe with grandchild. I bathed with my girls when they were tiny. If my mom or MIL did, i would be weirded out. Sleeping clothed next to each other is a different story. I dont see anything wrong with it. Unless the child is uncomfortable.
