Why is it important that God is immutable?
The Immutability of God is an attribute that “God is unchanging in his character, will, and covenant promises.” God’s immutability defines all God’s other attributes: God is immutably wise, merciful, good, and gracious. The Lord God will never lie to us or mislead us. He will always tell us the truth, and fill us with truth from His Holy Word.
Does God change his mind in the Bible?
God is changeless. In the Old Testament, there are several passages which show God seemingly changing his mind, usually over a judgment he declared on Israel. However, there are some passages in the Old Testament which appear to teach that God does not change his mind at all.

How do we benefit by remembering that God exists within us?
