Why did jarasandha not attacked hastinapur?
Attacking Hastinapur would have meant facing Hastinapur army, Bhishma and these were enough deterrents. Jarasandha too had a powerful army and allies. Facing him in an open war would mean too much destruction on either side and collateral damage no one could afford.
