Are people that skydive crazy?
It’s certainly not an everyday occurrence for most people! But while skydiving is an extreme sport and it does get your adrenaline pumping, we argue that it’s not a crazy thing to do. Skydivers aren’t crazy! In fact, they’re sensible, calculated people who know exactly what they’re doing and do it with precision.
Is skydiving a good idea?

Can you go skydiving if you are overweight?
There are skydiving weight limits for both indoor and outdoor skydiving. As a general rule of thumb, a person of a healthy weight can go skydiving. Anyone overweight (with a BMI over 24.9) may not be able to go outdoor skydiving as it poses more risk to tandem skydivers. The maximum weight for a new tandem skydiver is 220lbs.
What does skydiving mean to you?
For me, skydiving is one of those activities where you place your life in the hands of a complete stranger (which is why we highly recommend you to do your research when choosing a school to go with) For people with control issues, experience the felling of letting go as you willfully fall into oblivion (literally).
Why can’t I skydive with my parents in the US?
That is why you’re not allowed to skydive in the United States unless you are of legal skydiving age. Other countries that allow minors to jump don’t take lawsuits as seriously and therefore allow parents to be the ones holding responsibility. The legal skydiving age limit is listed as a United States Parachute Association Basic Safety Requirement.
