What happened at the end of No Country?
After spending much of No Country For Old Men following Moss (Josh Brolin) as he tries to stay one step ahead of Chigurh (Javier Bardem), the character is shockingly killed offscreen by assassins. Chigurh later recovers the money Moss stole and, true to his earlier threat, comes to kill Moss’ wife Carla Jean.
What are Anton Chigurh principles?

Who is Anton Chigurh in ‘no country for old men’?
For much of No Country for Old Men, hitman Anton Chigurh feels like an unstoppable killing machine. Even after Moss manages to shoot him during the firefight in Eagle Pass, Chigurh is still able to calmly and methodically stage an explosion that allows him to rob a pharmacy, then patch himself up with frightening efficiency and care.
What happened to Chigurh’s arm?
As he drives away afterward, Chigurh’s car is suddenly hit at high speed by another vehicle . Bloody and with an awful-looking compound fracture in his left arm, Chigurh gives a young boy money in exchange for a shirt and silence when the police arrive. Wearing the kid’s shirt as a sling, Chigurh walks off down the sidewalk, never to be seen again.

Why does Chigurh want to kill the people who hired him?
It is pretty clear he has a sense of (perverted) honor and loyalty, so killing the people who hired him seems to go against everything he is about. Chigurh was called in by the (unseen) ringleader, after the drug deal went bad. His main assignment is to recover the money.
