I love to write because it allows my mind to go to anyplace it wants to with no restrictions. Writing, I’ve found,is a way to express myself in ways I may not otherwise be comfortable doing. I enjoy writing because I love being able to express myself and my own ideas. I enjoy writing because it has so much freedom.
Can you learn to be a great writer?
The truth is, anyone can become a writer. Even the best writers had to start somewhere before they became successful. It does take a lot of hard work and dedication. As cliché as that may sound, it is nothing short of working hard and never giving up.

What have you learned as a writer personally?
What I have learned as a writer personally, is that I am not able to focus on any subject no matter what if I do not find it interesting. With that, I learned that I can make anything interesting if I look deep enough into the subject.
What has English 101 taught me about myself as a writer?
Over the course of this semester I learned a lot about myself as a writer. This English 101 class has really allowed me to expand my essay structure and ways of thinking.
Is writing something you learn on the job?
Your feedback — good and bad — is why I write here, in addition to it being nice to have an audience. Regardless, writing is definitely something you learn on the job. New skills are developed as you read and write more, and inevitably, get better. That isn’t what I learnt, however.
