It allows you to better organize information. Dating your notes allows you to easily organize information chronologically. There’s literally no guesswork involved. You just go through your notes, and start to assemble everything by month, day, and year.

Definition: The maturity date of a note is the time and date when the interest and principal is due in full and must be repaid. A note or promissory note is a written promise to a pay specific amount of money at a future date. The future date is called the maturity date.

Should I include late entry on my notes?
I do recommend that if it’s been a long time (this is subjective but let’s say more than a month), include something like “Late Entry” at the top of your note. You’re not trying to hide anything and since you should sign and date all notes on the date of entry, that won’t match your session date.
