INTPs are capable of independently studying expansive and complex material. INTPs are capable of actively applying material they have learned well and understood to their work, and they can further develop it in a direction that interests them. Working with this material engages them and fully absorbs their attention.
Should INTP go to college?
As an INTP, it can be a struggle to get through college. Deciding on a major when you want to learn a bit about everything can be stressful. Combine that with going to classes that are sometimes stale and uninspiring, and you are likely to see some apathy set in.

However, this may not be obvious in every type of education setting. INTPs are naturally solitary, one of the most solitary personality types, and they need a lot of alone time to think over their ideas and separate them for use and further analysis.
