The human body is a well-developed machine that moves efficiently. The bones and muscles together make the body move. Both are needed to make the body walk, run, jump, or preform any other motion that the body is capable of. If our bones were all one piece, we could not move.

Why can’t we use the word mechanical parts in a sentence?
The problem with using the word “mechanical” parts is that this conjures up a sense of parts that won’t feel human. What is most likely to happen is that we’ll end up with parts that feel even more human than we feel now. This is not yet ready anywhere though.
Is it possible to make a mechanical component with regerative ability?
Trying to make a mechanical component to have regerative ability would in fact required transformed the mechanical component into autonomous living cells! (such as embodies it with autonomous nanobot).
