How does McGill calculate admission average?
Admission is based on McGill’s calculation of your “Top 6” pre-university (4U, 4M) course average. A minimum of six 4U and/or 4M courses are required for admission.

“Grade not available” cannot be selected in this period. The grades to be submitted as interim grades depend on how many terms (or semesters) your school has per year. All self-reported grades will eventually be verified against official grades from your school.
What happens in my last semester of pre-university studies at McGill?
If you are a pre-university student, you are expected to continue your strong performance and to earn your diploma or leaving credential. It is rare for students admitted to McGill to perform poorly in their last semester of pre-university studies. However, should your performance decline significantly or in case of failure, please do not panic.
