Is it compulsory to attempt all questions in gate?
Part A is compulsory for all the candidates. Candidates have to attempt questions in Part A and questions in either Section 1 or Section 2 of Part B. Part A consists of 25 questions carrying 1-mark each (sub-total 25 marks and some of these may be numerical answer type questions).
