How do you trust God after disappointment?
The easiest way to regain your bearings is to turn around and walk back on your original way you came. The same is true about your faith journey. If you have come to a point where you have only found disappointment, ask God for help and strength, and “turn back” to when you started feeling that way.
Does obedience bring blessing?
A knowledge of truth and the answers to our greatest questions come to us as we are obedient to the commandments of God. This knowledge and understanding are available to all mankind. They are contained in truths which are eternal.
What does it mean to be disappointed with God?
But when we are disappointed with God, it doesn’t necessarily mean we have less faith; it merely means we are human with thoughts, feelings, and emotions. We don’t need to judge them right or wrong but instead allow ourselves to recognize and experience them.
Is God’s love dependant on our actions?
God’s love isn’t dependant on our actions. Yes, our sin has consequences and when it isn’t confessed, it can create a breach between us and God. But there is nothing we can do to earn God’s love. Once we have a relationship with him, he sees us through the perfect blood of his son.
Why do we feel like we are disappointing our parents?
If we grew up feeling like we were disappointing our parents or other significant people in our life, then we relate that to other relationships in our life as adults. Even our relationship with God.
Are You powerful enough to keep God’s plans from being realized?
“You are not powerful enough to keep God’s plans from being realized.” God already knew that we would fall short of His glory. He already knew that we needed a Savior hence the reason He sent Jesus. Jesus was sent to settle our account (justification), paying the price for our sin and opening the way for a relationship with God.
