Nowadays, most apps do a great job when it comes to counting steps, but Nike Run Club is still one of the most precise apps out there. Therefore, it’s safe to assume that Nike Run Club is almost 100\% accurate when you run in the gym or your home.

Masterminded by ASICS, (hence the release of the new data by the sports brand into the app), RunKeeper allows you to track and plan your runs – or any workout – as you go. As well as tracking your runs using its GPS technology, the app also lets you set your own goals and helps you stick to them.

Runkeeper performs the basic tasks of a GPS running app well. Recording a run is simple and the app logs the run data in an easy-to-read, organized entry. Unlike other apps, Runkeeper isn’t only for running. The app can also keep track of other activities, including cycling, cross country skiing and more.

I fell in love just looking at the design of Runkeeper. It has a lovely light blue color scheme, fun fonts, and an easy-to-navigate interface that made me think running was going to be fun. Runkeeper is owned by Asics, and as an avid Asics shoe owner, it added to the appeal of the app.
How does runrunkeeper work on iOS?
RunKeeper has two different iOS apps, including a premium version which allows for full GPS recording of activities, and if a premium membership to the website has been purchased, the live tracking of those activities is possible. The iOS app also allows for manual entry of activities (as does the website).
Can you get more advanced stats on the Nike app?
But unlike the apps you do have to pay for, there’s no option to get more advanced or in-depth stats. The look of this app is electric and powerful—much like the Nike brand. It tracks your basic stats, gives you the most achievements to earn, and has fun color levels to strive for.
