The only guaranteed way to intimidate your opponent is to play good moves. 🙂 Act bored. You can also set a piece down uncertainly to encourage your opponent to make an attack that you know is beneficial for your position/wins a piece/etc.

Erm, to be strictly literal, gg means ‘Good game’. How you interpret it is your own choice I guess. ( Personally, I say gg after every game, win or lose, if the opponent said anything or not.
