Why are we out here just to suffer?
Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg… and my arm… even my fingers. The body I’ve lost… the comrades I’ve lost…
Is there a difference between pain and suffering?
Individuals talk about their pain and suffering when they’re ill or after other difficult events. However, the two are not the same thing! Pain is what happens to us, suffering is what we do with that pain.
Why does God make us struggle?
God loves us, but because of our sinful nature, He allows these things to happen. He knows that by allowing us to experience failure, pain, and struggle, we will grow stronger in our faith and to become closer to Him and moving away from sin. God allows for struggling to build our inner strength and faith.
Why is there so much suffering in the world?
Answer: There is so much suffering in the world, and it is felt by everyone to one degree or another. Sometimes, people suffer as the direct result of their own poor choices, sinful actions, or willful irresponsibility; in those cases, we see the truth of Proverbs 13:15, “The way of the treacherous is their ruin” (ESV).
Does the Bible say the innocent suffer in this world?

Finally, God uses suffering to take our eyes off this world and turn them to the next. The Bible continually exhorts us to not get caught up in the things of this world but to look forward to the world to come.
