The greatest of the challenges faced by a teacher are: 1)Knowing their students well. 2)Understanding the different learning abilities and capacities of the students. 3)Motivating and encouraging them when the students underperform and have to deal with parental and peer pressure.

What is a mock class? More than anything, it is an opportunity to show what you’ve got and to see what tutoring is all about. An evaluator will greet you and pretend to be a student or a group of students. He may pretend to be a child or he may not, so prepare for teaching a variety of ages.

Students learn in a more meaningful way when they plan, design and construct three dimensional mockups that represent a real project or object. Creating mockups fosters students’ creativity and imagination, and models also represent a tool that helps to achieve the course’s objectives.
What is a mock-up in education?
The mock-up lesson allows team members to notice how the lesson feels from a student’s point of view. Team members can be assigned to produce each anticipated type of student thinking, so that the instructor can rehearse the specific questions that will be asked.
What do students remember about their teachers?
They remember teachers who cared about them. They remember teachers who were supportive or encouraging or saw something in them no one else did. They remember teachers who challenged them and made them think. And truth be told, students also remember teachers who were maybe just a little quirky.
Was Mr J more interested in his students than his subject?
In retrospect, I’d have to say that Mr. J was probably more interested in his subject than he was in his students, but he made history come alive for us. Do teachers do anyone a favor by allowing negative student behaviors?
Although I’m in classrooms daily, I typically do not have the pressure of getting students to do what they do not want to do. However, something I do know for certain: By allowing negative student behaviors to continue, teachers are not doing anyone a favor. We have to do something.
