Research from Oxford University suggests that watching a traumatic film boosts the production of endorphins, a chemical associated with increased pain tolerance and, ironically, feeling good. You shouldn’t feel under pressure to form an opinion to be involved in free discussions here on Reddit. You will absolutely form your own opinions and insights after the fact so try not to second guess the film as you are watching it.
Why do people talk to each other when they watch movies?
People talk to one another, or talk on their cell phones, translate the movie into other languages for the benefit of their friends (seriously) and have generally given up all sense of good manners. Perhaps people have grown so accustomed to watching movies at home, they’ve forgotten how to behave in public.
