Is it normal for siblings to hate each other?

Most of the time, siblings outgrow these feelings after they mature. Most “hate” feelings between siblings are based in parental favoritism and are actually intense jealousy which disappears once the focus is no longer on the parental favoritism or perceived favoritism.
