How does it feel to be an Overthinker?

Overthinking and excessive worrying create feelings of distress and restlessness that may lead to anxiety or depression if left undealt with. Taking back control of your thoughts is the key to feeling peaceful again. Overthinkers are people who are buried in their own obsessive thoughts.

What goes through an Overthinkers mind?

If you are overthinking important issues in your life, you can get stuck in indecision, avoidance, and procrastination. A person thinking about their relationships, health, career, self-identity issues, and the like needs to spend time in thoughtful reflection, but too much time in the head can be costly.

What causes someone to be an Overthinker?

The two basic things that underly overthinking is stress and anxiety. Apart from these basics, issues with one’s self-esteem and self-doubt are other common causes of overthinking. Highlighting the pandemic situation,social distancing has caused us stress and anxiety, and anxiety is a natural response to fear.

Avoid Social Media. Over-thinking,generally,is associated with a particular person or event.

  • Have an intense work schedule. Follow the old saying work is worship because work helps in making your own self better.

    Overthinking is bad because it overloads the brain and may result in anxiety, procrastination, depression or neuroses. Basically overthinking is a repetitive mode of thinking over and over the same kind of thoughts. They repeat themselves. They don’t contribute to the problem, just keep keep running in circles.

    What are the effects and symptoms of Overthinking?

    Difficulty Concentrating. This is one of the biggest ones because over thinking can consume your mind making it feel impossible to multitask and concentrate on other things.

  • Restlessness.
  • Feeling Constantly on edge.
  • Irrability.
  • Difficulty falling/staying asleep.
  • A sense of dread.
  • Tiredness.
  • Dizziness.
  • Muscle achesension.
  • Trembling or shaking.

    Why do I over think things?

    Lack of confidence. Lack of confidence is one of the main things which cause the problem of overthinking.

  • Second-guessing yourself. I think it’s better to make decisions more easily and quickly.
  • A constant worrier.

  • You cannot relax.
  • You want to be perfect.
