The traditional Indian parenting is value-based parenting. Deference for authority in social relationships is an expected behavioral norm. The family extends horizontally and laterally. People are bound up by their duty to family, to parents, to children, and to society.

Indian parents are sure that their habits today are their children’s future traits. Indian moms also believe in Attachment Parenting, so they try to spend every single minute that they can with their newborns. Indian doctors even recommend new moms sleep with their babies.

Daughters should be educated to be cultured and should teach the difference between good & bad touch. They should communicate in the way that a child understands it. Indian society and Indian parents have that judgemental streak, and they will judge almost everyone around. Everyone. You included.
