Can INTJ be artists?
Even though our naturally analytical and perceptive nature makes us wonderful scientists, researchers, and technicians, I believe that INTJs can also be equally skilled writers and artists.
Do Intj like poetry?
INTJs might not appear like the type of people to enjoy poetry, but they are complex people. They often do find themselves drawn to certain poetry, especially if it has a deeper meaning which takes some effort to understand.

INTJs are definitely tenacious people, and will not back down from something they believe in. INTJs do not back down, especially when they know they are right. They are very strong-willed people, who do not enjoy being pushed around by others.

INTJs tend to be artists on the low. We go to art fairs, or collect photography books. We are supporters of the arts, but rarely the artist.
How do you feel about being a creative INTJ?
I feel like creative INTJ’s have the unique ability to stand in both worlds and see them with all of these magnificent visual layers. I believe creativity is intelligence having a lot of fun. My art is where my emotions DO leak out far enough to be seen. My art is my soul on canvas.

Several famous philosophers are also typed as INTJ, including Karl Marx, G. W. F. Hegel, Jean-Paul Sartre, and my personal favorite, Friedrich Nietzsche. So why do INTJs get typecast in the sciences and not so much in the arts?
Why do INTJ’s shy away from art?
Because of the INTJ’s outward logical nature, it’s difficult for others to gauge exactly what we’re feeling at any given moment (and believe me, it’s equally difficult for us!). Therefore, in the art world, where emotions are placed front and center, it would make sense that we’d naturally shy away from it.
